GUIDE: How to change SMS Bubble Color

I'm trying to change my balloons to red and blue but I'm a little lost, can someone please help :frown:

What do I type when I open up iphoneinterface.exe?

Ok Load up iphoneinterface.exe when it says waiting and then connected blah blah etc... type the following:

cd /Applications/MobileSMS.app

Make sure the files are in the same directory as the iphoneinterface and then type the following into iphoneinterface.

putfile /Applications/MobileSMS.app/Balloon_1.png
putfile /Applications/MobileSMS.app/Balloon_2.png

then type quit and you should be good to go.

is there any instructions for using a mac? cause most of the threads iv seen everyone is using windows... thx

no, not those. your homepage icons: Text, Calendar, Photos, Camera, etc..

i got all tha way to step 13 where it tells you to type in ./jailbreak

on the bottem it just says cannot execute binary file. and i looked at everything it all seems to be correct. can anyone help?!?

Yes I agree....I would create them myself, have a clue where to start. Please anyone? Specially Orange....love the way the orange smiley looks in the quote.

MUCH EASIER THAN COMMAND PROMPTS

If you have Manzana or any iPhone Browser you can..
1] connect your iphone to the computer and it should say iphone connected
2] click on applications
3] click MobileSMS.app
4] right click on Ballon_1.png and delete it and do the same for Ballon_2.png 5] find a ballon that is the right size, save them to your desktop, than name them Ballon_1.png and Ballon_2.png if not already named
6]Than just simply drag the 2 png files into MobileSMS.app folder

So, does anyone know if you can make the "bubbles" a different shape such as just a rectangle or something else instead of them being bubbles?

from what I've seen, between what I've read and the mistakes ive made, you can make it look however you like as long as its the right size.

Im working on changing the "send" button color to red. So far i have it red, only when you first initially get to the conversation. Working on finding the stock images of the send and sendpressed button so i can change those next.

I'm sure you already figured this out, but I got mine to be red. I had the same idea you did, in order to keep myself from accidentally pressing it.
