GUIDE: How to change SMS Bubble Color

Actually its real easy, did it on a Win XP Box.
Connect through iphoneinterface then navigate to:
iPhone://Applications/MobileSMS.app#
now the 2 files you want to replace are: Balloon_1.png and Balloon_2.png
so the command would be:
putfile /Applications/MobileSMS.app/Balloon_1.png
putfile /Applications/MobileSMS.app/Balloon_2.png

here is what it looks like, and at the bottom you can find the 2 files i made, so if you want a different color just change them, but keep it the same size i have it.

its easy, you can also change the order of the icons if you like.

If I can find a way to 'set' a bubble to each contact maybe we can put there pictures? I know it will be hard maybe it cant be done.

For the balloons im assuming they are 43x22, and bg transparent but obviously when you send a text it stretches, I'm assuming it would stretch whatever pic you put it in, only problem i cant think of anything good, if u have any ideas ill give it a go

I was thinkign a a face with hands around mouth "AMPLIFYING" the sound. Sort of like someones is trying to yell out the text.

I actually made my own bubble because I couldn't just change the color on his without it looking weird. lol

yup, sure did.

Easiest way to change the color of the bubble in photoshop is just use the color replacement tool, and it will carry the highlights over in the respective color
