Guess what I got today? I woke up, turned my phone on to find a shiny LTE on the Status Bar.
AT&T finally turned it on in my area.

My speed tests were fantastic. I'm sure that's just because we probably don't have that many LTE Devices in my area.

But I am happier than a Slinky on a Escalator. ;-)

I think LTE is faster than my home WiFi... at least it seems so sometimes.

I saw this thread & turned my LTE on. Initially it was 4G & when I looked again it said LTE.

The only difference between it and my home network, is I have better upload speeds. I would have never guesses LTE would make that much difference. But it does. I'm very impressed.

Wondering if you noticed that your battery drains faster with LTE on?

Actually I have. But I'm not sure how bad just due to the fact I'm using my phone more.
I guess over the next 7 days, I'll have a better idea.

Noticed LTE on my phone for the first time a couple of days ago. Couldn't believe the speed test result.

Sorry I didn't know you were asking me. Thought you were asking the OP. :). I'm in South Alabama...travel for my job and have had LTE everywhere but home. So I was thrilled to see this. Of course this was a first time fluke. Since this test its been less than 20mbps each time. I'm guessing they had not throttled it yet when I tested it bright and early the first morning.
