I'm sorry if this is in the wrong area but I didn't know where to post it. My question is where is the original location in ifile of the signal bars and other status bar .pngs on ios4 I looked for the originals because I want to edit them not start from scratch.

And also how come no matter how many times I change the names and respring my 3G pngs are always opposite. Meaning the black one is where the silver should be and vice versa. Then I switch the names with ifile and respring and they still are backwards.

You can try getting an app that allows you to "browse" the folders on your device. There are some lying around in the App Store.

Hopefully this link will help you with changing the default carrier logo.

Secondly, what name are you calling the 3G.png's? They have to be correct of they simply won't work. Another option to consider is that you may have something installed which is conflicting with the new setup.

Of my custom theme. When I upgraded to iOS 4 alot of my theme didnt work anymore. I updated some of the file names and some now work but others don't for instance all of my black status bar pngs except the signal bars work but none of my silver ones work except the 3G logo which is the wrong one. And when I have cydia open none of the silvers work their all the originals. My new carrier logo is the only thing that stayed consistent from the time I added it like a year through everything till now.

They have changed in ios4 it's now called black and default respectively. None of the status bar stuff seems to work at all in cydia. It's non-skinnable I'm sure saurik is working on that. Hope this helps
