samsung has just released a 1 GB sim card!!!
    (not much but wow!!)

but this is something that apple and At&t will need to aprove and confirm.

if this goes down, then they could probably make even 2,4 or even 8GB simcards ....who knows...

I remember storing stuff on the SIM card for some other multimedia phones I had so it would be interesting to see how this pans out. Though, I don't see Apple or AT&T getting too thrilled about it.

Great idea but Apple would have to change the code to allow us to access it. I'll have to get my trusty SIM card reader out to see what the iPhone actually stores to the SIM card.

I prefer to store my stuff on the phone. For instance, I like the idea of getting iPhone 2.0, popping in my current SIM, and starting anew.

agreed. it would seem archaic to start labeling various sim cards with little tags that say "Simpsons - Season 6", "Simpsons - Season 7" and so on...
