There's an option in settings to auto-fill contact information (name, address, phone number) on a form webpage. Haven't tried it yet, though.
Anyone else notice Emoji is available by default? I'm pretty sure this isn't residual for me, since I restored as new and didn't run any "emoji apps"
Ok I found it, but I don't get it. I'm in Settings>Safari>AutoFill and I see Use Contact Info, which I set to On. This enables the My Info option below. If a go into that, it lists all my contacts. WTF am I supposed to do here? Select one of my contacts to represent "My Info"? Confused.
Sorry guys, that's not a new feature. Apparently it's a hidden feature that can only be activated using a jailbreak app SBSettings. Look here: http://www.everythingicafe.com/forum/iphone-software/percent-of-battery-45084.html I know that it is a feature by Apple since it survives updates into 3.0, which means it must be being backed up in iTunes. The phone I have now is a brand new replacement phone I got the day before 3.0 came out, and it has never been jailbroken, only restored from a backup on my previously jailbroken phone. So it must have been logged as a setting in my iTunes backup...
Hmmm. This isnt a big one but the appstore pictures are different. When you view the screenshots of the app, they work much better. Kinda hard to explain so look for yourself.
i believe it lets you track were your phone is it in case it gets lost or stolen. it's in the mobileme settings on the iphone. here's the excerpt from BGR as well as a screenshot. http://www.engadget.com/2009/03/18/usb-tethering-publish-video-and-find-my-iphone-found-in-os-3-0/
I saw this listed on iphonespies. iPhone 3.0 lifts 10 mb download limit. http://www.iphonespies.com/iphone-news/iphone-30-lifts-10mb-download-limit/
