Concept of a persistent dock in iOS 6

    An interesting write up today by John Gruber of Daring Fireball. One thing he touches on is the concept of a persistent dock, which is says is a common theory. The dock would appear, even while in an app. I guess this would bring some of OS X to iOS, contrary to the direction things have been going in the past.

    I think this sounds crazy. Thoughts?
