Can't send hotmail.

G'morning folks. I'm having a problem sending or replying using my hotmail. I have gmail and outlook on the phone as well and both work fine. I get all my hotmail messages incoming but can't send or reply back out. It gives me an error and says user name or password incorrect. Which doesn't make sense since obviously I am revieving email. Is there somewhere I am missing where there are send and receive settings?
Anyone else ever experience this?

Have you set your Hotmail account up as a Microsoft Exchange account on your phone? If you haven't, it won't sync properly over multiple devices (changes you make on your iPhone won't show up on your PC).

Go to Settings-Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and delete your Hotmail account. Then tap Add New Account, and select Microsoft Exchange. Your username should be your full Hotmail address (yourname@hotmail.com), as well as the Address field. Enter your password, and if you want, change the nickname from Exchange to Hotmail (or whatever you wish), then tap Next. A new field saying Server should appear. Type in:

m.hotmail.com

Tap done, and you're all set! Everything should work perfectly now!
