Can anyone advise me on this one, my baseband is 4.10.1 I jailbroke my back on 4.3.1 and I thought it unlocked my phone but after signing up with T-Mobile today I find out it is not unlocked and I just paid $30.00 just to get it unlocked online and that was a failure just did same thing I did. So is there a unlock yet for that baseband or a way to change it to one I can unlock. And anyone know what the procedure is to have apple send a unlock to my iTunes (willing to try that to) also is in in the future that this baseband will be patched?

The only baseband that has an official unlock for the iPhone for is 1.59.00 which was issued only with the first release of them on AT&T. To unlock your iPhone 4, you would need a Gevey SIM Card which you can purchase at the Amazon links below.

A little advice: don't pay anyone to jailbreak or unlock your iPhone when you can easily do it yourself. Most of the people who sell this "service" know little about the entire procedure and its pitfalls from what I've experienced. They're pretty much One Trick Ponys who learned to do it a while back but aren't necessarily well versed on the latest developments, incompatibilities, so on and so forth. You may as well buy that new movie that's still in theaters from broham on the corner who promises it has HD quality! ;)

A Gevey sim is the only option. It still works. There are no guarantees it will work on 5.0. The Gevey sim PRO doesn't require that you dial the emergency number (so it may not be illegal - I'm not certain) and it doesn't require that you redo the process every time your reboot.

I don't know about dialing those particular numbers but just try it. It's only $6.99 shipped. What do you have to lose? You can always restore your phone from backup if something goes wrong.

You don't have to dial 911. It's uses a European emergency number. It looks like the sims in the link are non-pro. Check craigslist or eBay. I
