AT&T MMS is now working!

Sometimes they are never told anything, for example MMS, the only reason AT&T now knows about it was because of all the 3.0 users calling in to get it activated. I wonder if apple would have ever told them if it wasn't for us giving AT&T a heads up.

Any update on AT&T activating MMS on iPhones?

well my provisions are all set by att and i have tried the download and still nothing is working... now my youtube doesnt work!

For Christ's sake, give it up until the official release. It aint gonna happen for most of us till then, so have some patience for the love of God!

Its working! I tried everything listed on these posts this weekend to no avail. Tried it Monday morning and bam works like a charm! So pumped

What exactly did you do?

I did it all called Att they had no idea what I was talking about. I did they carrier update and made sure user name and password were corect then switched sim cards with a known mms phone and signed up for the mymedianet thing and changed messaging plan to unlimited nothing worked. Then all of a sudden this mourning it work like a charm

anyones start working with the 3.0beta3 update?

i just did and lost my MMS which i just got working 2 days ago... anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

Mine started with v3.0 b3 update. I am on unlimited Family text and on b2 I did install the updated carrier file. It did not work prior to b3. Can send and receive.

Just in case someone testing for MMS has overlooked it, there is a toggle to turn it on in Settings|Messages. It definitely won't work if it is turned off.

I just updated to Beta three last night and while it says I have it and will load a picture up to 95% then has a red "!".

Just tried to the switch off and on, now it's completely gone. WTF!

Yesterday I was lucky enough to get an unsuspecting AT&T rep to provision MMS for me and they wanted to send me to the Technical Support dept after her test photo message didn't work to which I replied, "That's okay, I'll call them later". My thoughts were they would know better and possibly reverse my MMS provisioning. I've restarted several times and I still get the "!" next to every message I try to send out. I even updated the AT&T carrier settings to 5.0 to no avail. :frown:

What is gone? You should try the airplane mode off and on to try to get it to work. Also get off any iphone messaging plans.

Same as above airplane mode got me working, I think it re registers to the mms provisioned network. And after airplane mode don't try to resend with the "!" just send a new one. Oh and reset network settings can always help.

Tried turning the airport mode off and on to no avail. Still nothing. If I restore through iTunes do I need internet access? I'm at work and using my phone to tether, which I could only get to work once I updated the Carrier file to 5.0.

Has anyone noticed on iPhone 3.0 Beta when sending a text to multiple recipients that the texts get sent out as MMS messages? People that cant receive MMS messages wont receive the text. People that do receive MMS messages on other phones receive the message as MMS.

i have beta 3 now, carrier settings 5.0, and have unlimited messaging for non iphone. the only thing i havent done, and cant do is get another phone to register with medianet
