My high school years were filled with Elton John's music, and it always brings back good memories for me. Anyone else feel the same?

Fan of the music, not of the man. Seems a little too divaish for me.

Your song and Daniel are 2 of my all time favorite songs.

    Nope. ;)

Hes better than Billy Joel, though. I am a pianoman and I dislike most famous piano men. :eek:k:eek:k

As a matter of fact, I am an Elton John fan! I'm a fan of the music and a fan of the man himself. Elton FTW!

I saw him in concert at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in 2007 (The Red Piano) and it was an incredible show. I would love to go again.

I like all of his music, but Someone Saved My Life Tonight, Rocket Man, Tiny Dancer, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, and Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me are my favorites.

I'm still kinda partial to Shatner's and Stewie's versions of Rocket Man. :eek:k:eek:k

    They're kind of funny...I guess.

I like how Elton and Bernie wrote the song the year I was born.

Not really as I haven't heard a lot for him. To be honest, I have only heard him sing a verse or two in Blue's song Sorry seems to be the hardest word.

Like him tons. Used to live 100 yards from the football ground for the club he owned.

A lot of favorite songs of his, but two that stand out are Don't Let The Sun Go Down on Me, and just lately a duet with Mary J Blige on I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues.

His music is great, he himself......I'll just leave it at that. Billy and Elton are having a convert here in Salt Lake City this month, can't afford the tickets though.

    patrick, good choices.
danipoak, you have to go see him in Vegas one of these days!

I used to be an Eminem fan, so, when he and Elton got together for Stan at the at the 2002 Grammy's, I couldn't have been happier.
