Adding contacts from recent calls

Is there a way to add a number to my contacts without actually dialing it? I'm not able to find it in the manual, and (like right now) it's too late to call the people on my missed call list but I know who they are and I would like to add them.

My treo decided to delete all my phone numbers a few days before I got my iPhone, and although I know they're there in a backup file somewhere I can't find them and add them to my contacts list. It's off topic, but if anyone knows where to find my backed-up treo phone numbers and how to get them into my iPhone I would be evah so grateful!:foot::foot::foot:

well how do you delete one number from the recent call area?? you can only delete the whole list?? is this right? cant figure that one out

its fairly simple. when your at recent or missed called click the little arrow pointing right at the right end of the highlighted number. this will take you to the numbers information and right there the 3rd 'button' down says create new contact

I was going to answer it but see someone already has beaten me to it!

I have the ability to delete single calls now instead of the whole list. It seems to be a 5.0 or 5.0.1 upgrade.

Swipe left or right across the one you want to delete.

Haha, didn't realise that the little arrow actually was a button

goto recent call list.
click on create contact/add to existing.
enter name or whatever you want
save and it should be sweet.
