3gs 5.16.02 baseband on 4.1 gevey unlock

    I just buy a gevey ultra iphone 4 unlock chip, also i buy micro sim adaptor.
    I made a few modifications to the sim adaptor and combine the gevey with the adaptor and micro sim to fit 3gs 4.1 firmware 5.16.02 baseband and managed to fit it in pozition.
    Next i got the message about the source cydia.furi.. Added it installed the mod and reboot the phone
    So i accepted the popup from gevey,got the o signal bar but not the unlock..
    My question would be now can the gevey ultra for iph4 unlock 3gs if positioned right?
    I would like a sure answer, don't guess. Thanks

    Edit : i read on another page that it can work

    I dont think the gevey ultra works... With the 112 exploit maybe not ultra gevey that should be without the 112 call tried hard and no result
