Question YouNote-Retrieve Deleted Files??

I jailbroke my 3g iPhone and have an application called “You Note” which allows you to record voice notes. We are currently in the middle of a lawsuit and I have a VERY important recording that they needed me to present in court. The problem is, as I was letting someone listen to it today, they accidentally hit the delete button. I am sick to my stomach over this and I was wondering if anybody knows if there is a way to retrieve deleted files that have not been backed up? I will try anything that I can to retrieve this recording. Help please!!!

Wow that sucks. You should have recorded it or emailed it for a backup if it was important. (I'm not sure if younote lest you email recordings though) You have to do some crazy forensics to get that data back.

Yea I know, unfortunately I was about to go home and attempt to record it onto something else because YouNote will not let you e-mail it. So what kind of "forensics" go into retrieving this? I am willing to try ANYTHING or pay anyone who can help me

Default Best shot

There is a book that is titled iPhone forensics. It's your best bet, I flipped through it at barnes and noble and remember it covering various techniques to extract data. If you need help understanding the concepts in it then pm me.
