it don't work ... try to needle the speaker holes out (poke the needle) left hand side of iphone worked for me and a lot of others Good luck !!

I've done this and it does make a difference, plus it’s completely safe to do.

Ive did both methods at the same time and my music is much louder. Especially my ringtone, very loud

so you lot recommend cleaning the holes out with a needle? are you sure this wont damage the speaker?

i also tried that volume boost through the installer, it never worked for me! can any of you lot advise another way or anything?

I used the pin method and there is a noticable improvement in the volume. The speaker is recessed inside the phone pretty far and unless your sticking an entire sewing needle into it you will not hit the speaker. I used a staple and inserted the end in about 1/8th of an inch. Some of the "holes" on the speaker cover are not open all the way through so although you see like 10 holes, there are really only 4 or 5 that you can push the pin through.
