I had 0.3 and got a home made video (.mov) to work. It was about 5MB but it had sound so I uninstalled that one and re-SSH'd a new copy without sound but it wouldn't work even after about 10 attempts (clean install of vWallpaper each time). So I gave up for a bit then saw 0.5 came out so tried again still with no luck...until....

I went to www.vwallpapers.com and downloaded some of their vids.

They work fine as long as you DON'T turn video wallpaper on/of and restart Springboard when you change the wallpaper (ignore the directions, just hot the home button to go back). My 5MB vid still doesnt work but oh well.

^So try that people who are having problems seeing their videos.

Also, the 'bug' about vWallpaper disabling auto-lock? I love it! I always lock my phone when not in use and this 'bug' keeps the phone active while i FTP to it!

I can't get this app to work still. Ever since I installed it I have had problems with my touch screen not working so I uninstalled it. Unfortunatly even after uninstalling I'm still having touch screen problems. I am 100 percent sure that this app is the reason I just dont know how to solve it without a compleat restore as new.

I'm not in var/root/library but in /library

ANyone know how to properly fix SSH this video ?

All of my videos are in /var/mobile/Media/Skrew/Videos

30mb is most certainly not the limit for vwallpapers. I just SSH'd a 77mb 6minute long video of Michael Jordan in "It's Gotta Be the Shoes" and it runs perfectly from start to finish, then loops again. Incidently, it is in iPod format, so I am about to see if a full movie will run. BRB

Final Edit
the 254mb mp4 works just fine. It's a full screen movie and it plays perfectly. Because it's full screen, it stretches the entire length of the screen unlike the 98mb widescreen video. That 98mb video has bars on top and bottom.

I don't think I'll try anymore vids as that 30minute video is plenty proof that 30mb is not the max. This app is my new favorite app.

You just have to take a video and convert it to a .mov file, and badda boom badd bing, you got a vWallpaper! Just place the video in /private/var/mobile/media/skrew/videos (I think). and you're good to go.
