Default Upload iPhone Video to YouTube!
The iPhone Video Recorder app has had an update today (to Version 1.2.0) and has added what so many have been waiting for:

The ability to upload / share your videos straight to YouTube.

Yeah I was trying it out and it works great! My only gripes are that it takes a while for your video to be cataloged for the iPhone by Youtube, so it won't even turn up on a search for a while. You can share it from your desktop by going into your Youtube account, but the link won't play on your iPhone until it's properly formatted.

thats true but since you already have to video on your phone why would you prefer to watch it with the youtube app? doesnt really make much sense to me. plus you dont have to wait for it to load.

i just uploaded my first video to youtube with my iphone! its so awesome! but yeah you are right, it does take a while. i wish they would put some kind of status bar though.

Well, what I'd like to do is upload a video, then immediately put a link to it on iRovr. Considering the submission I upped this morning still isn't found in a search (even a title search in quotes) at this point, it seems like instant video sharing on the iPhone is still not quite there. Or maybe I'm just not youtube-saavy enough (I've only ever upped three vids)

I've talked with E-Madd over at iRovr and he said he will consider adding native video support, which would be very cool.

What is the name of the video recorder?

What is the source for it? Is it called VideoCapture also?

Nope. Trial is limited by time or number of uses, but all features are usable during it.
