My iphone was locked from Kate from this morning and I couldn't do anything and I was so mad.....when I heard that sound from my iphone, I think (if I remember well) that the Kate's settings screen appear and I tried to unckeck everything, and it was working. Since I uncheck everything from settings, it was obvious that my iphone was finally unlocked. Then a message appears asking me if I want to remove Kate...or something like that. Then it asked me to restart my iphone and when I logged in again, I went direct to installer to uninstall full the application.......and yes, it's working fine. I tried everything I read on this thread but with no luck.

Thanks God I uninstall this f*** by luck.

The same has happened to my phone, and i really can not b bothered to restore ir a loose averything, i suppose if i wait the three day trial version to end, all the problems should disapear.. or not?

This should be removed from installers featured apps list.

do as i said on my post hold down the kate icon till you see an X on it and delete it might take 2 trys but it will work
there are so many people out there pissed as **** becouse of ehis kate crap... hope all well thanks

I did this, and then it was working fine, the this is i cant remember if i unistalled it from the installer, because ive read even when its unstalled some of its features stay on , anyway when i piked the phone up after ten mins to look at something the same thing had happed, the screen is blocked and this time i catn do de X thing.. -.-"

Registered because of this. Should of checked the forums before i installed. I've tried all possible solutions with nothing that has helped. The problem im having. After installing and restarting i could go the menu and lock menu but after going into a program it would stop me from pressing anything so i had to click the main menu button.

ok i restored my Iphone but it says my sim card isn't compatible is there a way to fix this? How do i install jailbreak when i just restored. Payed 250 pounds for this phone and its really going down the ****ter.

Upon installing this God-forsaken Kate application last night while lying down in bed, I realized that my touch screen wouldn't respond in all programs other than the home screen.

Holy ****. My iPhone died.

Long story short, I came here, saw your thread, and was about to post another "My iPhone died, plz help omgz" thread but I actually fixed the problem. Here we go:

1. Connect your iPhone to your computer, preferably removing the Dock so you can actually hold the phone comfortably.

2. Get on your home screen and find the Kate application icon.

3. Click and HOLD this icon until all icons begin squiggling around the screen.

4. Hopefully your "Kate" icon has an "X" on the top left corner of it, which is there to delete or uninstall the application. Click this.

5. Kate will ask you if you would like to uninstall or delete...go ahead and click Uninstall, then it will give you a set of instructions on how to uninstall, and also a 2nd uninstall button you'll have to pick.

STOP HERE.

6. Leave your iPhone plugged in and on this last menu, and just set it down on the table. After a minute or two, my phone randomly synced again with my computer, and the phone was back to normal again.

Pay attention here...if you uninstall the program through installer WITHOUT unchecking all of Kate's settings through the program itself, your phone will still be messed up as far as fonts and other things go.

Update: As I was typing this for you guys, I went ahead and reinstalled Kate to undo the settings (fonts, etc) and my phone is back to screwed-up mode again.
