Exactly as CREAM8N has described. This app f.uckin wrecks ur iphone. Upon restarting black and white lines flash for a couple of secs then the phone starts up. Everythin appears ta be normal until u enter something on the desktop. You cant use the scroll function on the screen preventing u from doing anything really. So that means when you go to the Installer you cant press the Uninstall icon. So like me you're pretty much f.u.c.k.e.d. Thanx very much for wreckin my phone yas pask of ba.stards.
Even tho this appears to work ok on some ppls iphones its not worth the hassle. It now means im goin to have to restore using Ziphone which is the last f.uckin thing I wanna do. I will create another post should i find a solution today.

I registered just to tell everyone to please avoid installing it. Maybe it still on BETA so not everything works perfectly.

What happened on my iPhone was that the touchscreen function works only in springboard. This means that when I execute any application, the screen starts to freeze and you cannot tap anything. All you can do is to hit home button.

When you hit the lock button, the screen does not turn off, instead, it just goes to dim mode. I TRIED restarting it for SEVERAL times but nothing changes.

My last choice was to just restore it and start from scratch.

But, it happened that I fixed the damn thing! What I did was: when you 'slide to unlock' it, I tapped the calendar*(you can see this when you checked it on the Kate app,not the built-in app) several times and give it a few seconds (the screen returned back to locked mode). I repeated this step for about two times. After that, EUREKA! The touch functions returned to normal. I unchecked all the add-on features of Kate and uninstall it.

This is only based from my experience.

Hope all of you can fix it.

As you can see, this is far from a safe app. Even if you haven't had any issues with it, I suggest you uninstall it.

Interesting... I've just been on another thread about Refreshing sources in Installer taking forever. I've had that problem just recently - prolooooonged refresh times. Then I remembered that I tried both Caterpillar and Customize 2 recently, neither of which I found helpful for me personally. But guess what? I just deleted the sources for both and now my refresh times are a fraction of what they'd become - it's instantly become as fast as it always was.
Like I say... interesting.

John, Good Day, Sir

Not to belabor the point but this app has crashed 7 phones, including yours.
I respectfully repeat my statement that I think a sticky is a good idea.

I have been incredibly paranoid since Screenshot nearly crashed my phone.
If I had to restore, I would have been DEAD.

I feel we have a responsibility to anyone who comes to this website to warn them about anything that can damage their phone..

Just my humble opinion.

Good Day, Sir
