Muxo Utility Adds Subtitle Support for iPhone

A contributor over on the Handbrake forums has just released a tool called Muxo that allows users to add soft subtitles to the MP4 format.

These files can then be sent over to the iPhone and turned on and off at will instead of actually being encoded into the video itself. The user, who goes by the handle "Entropic" on the forumhas stated that he designed Muxo as an accessory to Handbrake, allowing users to add SRT titles to ripped [DVD files. Once the converted files have been loaded on to the iPhone, users can access a menu that allows the subtitles to easily be turned on and off.
