Cool avatar. That photo was taken in 1967. Hendrix performing on tv in the UK on The LuLu Show. Notoriously Jimi, he broke away from what they were supposed to do and jammed The Cream's Sunshine of Your Love way too long and past a commercial break. Much to LuLu's exasperation, of course.

The irony here is that Hendrix never knew that Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce wrote that song about Jimi himself!! He was famous for playing that particular Cream song frequently in the early concert years while still with the Experience.

oh yea, Iphoneringtonemaker blows, by the way.

I like it. Very knowledgable about my idol. And I know it blows, but I got it before I knew any of the other ways. So, what the hell. I still can't get the workaround for ringtones to work. I have no idea what is wrong. I'm following the directions to a tee and nothing.

By the way, I play a little and do a lot of SRV tunes.

Cool

You are right on about the Eric Clapton song, I bought the Eric Claption Audio Book and went thru that pretty quick. Clapton was very much in awe of him and really thought he was the best, and also said that he was the only one that was left handed playing a right handed guiter.

The 60's is really my music, and while I was in the Marines in the late 60's I saw Hendrix and Cream and other many times live. It was an awesome time to be in and experience. My best buddy and I went to those concerts in his Shellby GT-350................but he was killed in Nam.

Why do people use iPhone Ringtone Maker?

Just chop the song up to 30 seconds and then send to itunes and use Send Song on your iPhone? It seems so much easier. Also I usually just used un-chopped songs from my iPod and it works fine.

i assume the people that stick with it are the ones that used it before the drag-n-drop exploit.

otherwise there's no reason to bother.
