Going from 1.1.3 to 1.1.4 what about the data?

Hey guys,
I've put up with the out of order txt's for long enough now.
So I went on apple's website and they said update to 1.1.4 for fix this issue.

I want to go from my jailbroken/ unlocked iphone to 1.1.4
I don't want to loose my contacts or pictures on the phone though?

So, how do I go from 1.1.3 to 1.1.4 without loosing any information on my phone?
If I do have to loose info, how do I save my pictures and contacts?

Sync the contacts and the photos in iTunes, then restore and you should be good to go.
