Default cycorder buggy?

so i noticed on saturday that cycorder was being a bit weird. it started off with it just closing on me when i took a video (although it kept recording), then progressed to just closing when i opened clicked on the icon. i restarted, did a soft reset, and even uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. so i said fawk it and went to bed. woke up the next day and it worked. fast forward to tonight it started closing again and then reopening, now it works fine again.

only thing i can think of is i did some "tweaks" with pdanet on thursday (can't talk about them on here) but i didn't touch anything having to do with cycorder (and cycorder worked fine after that). only thing i did was change the permissions on pdanet and deleted a file from /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/

just wondering if anyone else had any issues and if you did maybe we can figure out a fix for this inconsistency. if not perhaps my tweaks had some weird change on cycorder.....

we shall see

Amateurs shouldn't be allowed with jailbroken iPhones...

What do you mean "try," son? It elicited a response, didn't it?

the banter in here is priceless sometimes. Have you updated to 3.0 and then gone back to 2.2.1 jailbroke? The reason i ask is because i did the same and my apps froze and crashed constantly. I restored to 2.2.1 jailbroke and then synced and all my apps were fine. Back to 3.0 now though!

nope, no need or urge to update to 3.0, i'm jailbroken on 2.2. only thing i have installed or done since it started acting weird was modify pdanet like i said, and install cydelete.

uninstalling cydelete right now to see if that does anything....

well cycorder hasn't been working at all today for me, so i just uninstalled cydelete, and tried cycorder and it works like a charm. so if any of you have cydelete installed, note to self....

so i ssh'd onto my phone to the videos folder where cycorder used to store them and instead of a folder it was just a videos icon that i could not open. so i restored to 2.2 and rejailbroke, just installed cycorder and it works fine. not sure exactly what caused that to happen but oh well.
