Someone at school wanted me to try this out and it ****ING SUCKS!

1. It kept freezing my iPhone, so I had to do a hard-reset.
2. After playing around with it and respringing springboard, all it did was jumble up my icons. I had to spend an hour putting them back where I left them.

It sucks...stay away from it.

Dude, ME TOO, those exact same two things! WTF is it doing with the jumbled icons?!? When it did that, that's what made me finally say "To hell with this!"
Reorganizing eight pages of apps is not fun on the iPhone...

Yeah.

I like having several pages full of apps. I know where everything is, and I have them categorized in a certain way, so I think I'm fine where I'm at.

Yeah pretty much the only reason I WANTED categories is so I could have more than 9 pages of apps, is there a hack to get more than 9 homescreens?

There's something that lets you put 5 rows of apps instead if 4, I just forgot the name of it.

It's the FCSB: Five Column SpringBoard.

That works I guess. More than 9 homescreens would be better though, I think a five column springboard would look pretty cluttered.

Isn't there an upper limit to the number of apps regardless of what tricks you use to rearrange or categorize them?

I'm still undecided about Categories. I love the cleaner screens, but it is buggy. Opening the folder does take a little long, also I've found that it will not add a certain App to a folder & it names two apps with the same name. Very confusing.

Still deciding to keep or delete...

IYou can actually Edit the icon without deleting the Category. I discovered this after doing the same thing.

Does the 3.0 Beta let you have more than nine home screens?
