x999x,

Thank you for all the work you have done for the iPhone. My wife and I loved your Blank app for our iPhones.

Now that we've upgraded to the iPhone 3G, are you planning to port Blank to the new 2.x firmware? I'd love to donate some $$$ for it or buy it through the Appstore.

Thanks so much!

If you all want is an app that does not have an icon (or a transparent one, rather) then all you need to do is download an app you won't use and replace it's icon with a transparent one. However, if you want the app to crash when you open like Blank App did, you'll either have to find a way to contact x999x or find a developer willing to port the app.

Lincoln,

Thanks for the info! I'll play around with transparent icons so that I can get this setup.

He still pops in from time to time, though.

No, it was supposed to crash; that was part of the point of the app. That way, if you accidentally tapped on the icon, it would open for a second and then return to the Springboard.
