switching your tariff? what are you talking about? I am sure I do not understand England English. How would you say that in USA English?

Hahaa well i was on a domestic tariff originally before I got my iPhone...but my dad had to switch me to a Business tariff because there was no domestic tariff on the iPhone immediately after it's release. Now my dad wants to switch my tarriff back because it's cheaper. S'that explain it?

I think they were asking what a "tariff" is in general. We probably pay one too in the States, but we definitely don't know it as a tariff. Taxes and Fees?

Now I understand. When you buy the iPhone in UK you have to pay an import duty/tax and the business import duty/tax is a different amount of money than the regular person import duty/tax. Do I have it?
