att store on red bug, which is where i will be.. said that they arnt allowing lines because they are in a strip mall, so they dont want to disturbe the other stores. no idea what that means. i guess i line will form in the parking lot if necessary.. ha anyone else going to that store. i probably will drive by there around 2 and check it out.

I might try that store. But no lines? That's sounds weird. I was also thinking of Millennia Apple store. The lines might be longer, but I have some gift certificates. I just don't know if Millennia will allow us to line up inside the mall, or try to hold us outside. I heard from another site that the Apple Stores in the Mall would require the line to start at the nearest entrance to the store??? Anyone have any information on this?

Also, if anyone has the means to update the forums once they get to their location and give a report (line length, how it's being done, etc) ... that would be nice. I hope to do the same.

as far as milenia goes.. i know this... when peoiple were camping for ps3's, they didnt even allow lines ANYWHERE. they held everyone at some point, then opened the mall and literally let people run through the mall. it was rediculous. im hoping that the red bug location in quiet little winter springs will be nice and slow. i will probably call them around 1 and ask if there is a line, and if not just show up there around 2ish.

They released the PS3 at mall open, not during the middle of the day, right? Not much of a gamer, so I don't know this.

correct, they released it once the mall opened. so it was really hectic. not really sure how milenia will handle this 6pm thing. possibly give out numbers? who knows. i know they already have peopel camping there so i dont wanna be anywehre in that area. ill see you at red bug if anyone goes there

Well the store I was at ended up getting 50 people. There were 40 phones. I was first in line and was on Ch 2 News, lol

Well i missed out on getting an iphone on the 29th..but in about an hour im heading over to millenia mall cuz i was online and i saw on apple.com that they have a page to show iPhone availability and it is updated every night at 9pm and millenia mall had a green light so i asked customer service if that ment they had it in stock and the lady said "They sure do" so hopefully i'll get lucky and get mine tomorrow wish me luck!

I was number 18 at the Florida mall. There had to have been at least 300 people there. I'm at work now writing to you on the phone. It's working great off of the new EDGE. And I'm learning the keyboard really quickly.
