I think I am going to wait in line at Millenia from about 2pm Friday afternoon, it should be a better seen and there is free wi-fi with-in about 50 ft of the apple store. If they can not get me activated because I am already with cingular, still under contract, a family plan user, and not eligible for an upgrade, I will just take it to the company store on Saturday morning and get it activated.

The Activation Video on Apple.com makes it look like they will not be activating the phones at the stores, instead you do it at home on iTunes.

I will have my macbook with me since the apple stores wi-fi bleeds out in to the mall. So I will just activate right in the apple store on my own macbook.

If they are sending people to the computers in the store after you pay they may get backed up.

I want to go to millenia very badly but I think it will be packed. Plus I heard the mall wasn't going to allow lines. Guess I'll just be out in the sun wi-fi-less.

im not going to milenia, i dont want to deal with the crowds. i will probably be going to an att store over on red bug. anyone else going to that area??

I haven't seen any campers yet at AT&T locations here...anyone else? I'm going to scope things out at 9am. If there's a line forming I'm staking out my lawn chair.

Are you planning on being in an outside line? Rain would just make the inside lines that much longer.
