Default is there a Need to camp out???

I was kinda hoping that i wouldn't have to camp out and that i could just preorder online and recieve it the day it came out. Do you think i might have to camp out? lol looks like i might have to take work off on the 29th...oh and if ur in the orlando or longwood area are u camping out?

i want the phone on the 29th but i think im gonna take my chances and order online

You underestimate the number of Apple fan boys(and girls) in each major geographical area.

if there are going to be in store preorders, im going to camp out, because the online ones are going to go really quick

A couple sources are pointing that Apple plans to have 3 million phones available at launch.

That seems a little high but if that's the case, then there should be no problem getting one.

Also, take into consideration that any online orders will potentially ship direct from a single location in China. That means a couple of days before it gets here.

I'd imagine supply via online will be very good but I bet you'll just have to wait a little longer to git yer grubby hands on the thing. If you think you can wait the extra time without having an aneurism, then online is a great option.

I live in Casselberry, and was going to camp out but I'm also going on vacation the day before to Atlanta, so I plan on camping out in Atlanta.

Well if the 3 million iPhones being available claim at launch holds true, then camping won't be necessary.
