Sorry to burst your bubble, but you're wrong. Apple has released past product at 6PM. Look at their OS X Tiger release.

I've called a couple of local Apple Stores, and they have confirmed the 6/29 6PM release. So yes, this does change things somewhat. No more need to camp overnight. Get there by noon and you should be fine.

At least you can agree with me that it is an odd time to release something of this stature. That still leaves me with a question, will they have the store open all day or open at 6pm?

I do agree, it is weird.

I believe that they will open at 10am, as normal, close down around 4PM or 5PM, prepare the iPhone displays and get everything ready and reopen at 6PM.

True, as before the iPod mini was released, Apple closed the store at 5 PM, the employees prepared a display area, and re-opened at 6 PM.

its cool its just I don't understand why people can't copy and paste the story in here thats what I do as well as post it on my blog. Just like on digg people submit stories to youtube videos posted on there blog why can't they just put the youtube link on there? blah its just a rant sorry.
