What a month for concerts...

...a LOT of very cool acts are hitting the midwest this month, and Saturday kicks it off. at 2pm, i'll be going to the Stone Temple Pilots reunion tour, and directly from there, heading to busch stadium (at 7pm) to see the Black Crowes (dual headline with Dave Matthews, but i'm not too interested in staying for DMB).

then monday Zappa Plays Zappa... and it only gets better after that.

i'll try to get pics, but i don't have great seats to the Saturday shows...

That's pretty sweet Hippo. We don't get too many acts here in Gainesville but when we do they're usually pretty good ones.

On a side, Jerry Seinfeld is going to be in Orlando on the 17th, I think I might go and see him.

you do get the Alachua Harvest Festival and the Suwanee Music Fest (spring & fall), which more than make up for the stadium rock shows. ever been? i used to do all three every year.

I just went to VH at MSG. This month, I have Iron Maiden followed up by Crue Fest next month and Judas Priest in August. Throw in a little Warrant, Cinderella and Lynch Mob. That's my summer of metal.

And I'm going to see Kathy Griffin with my wife, but that's not exactly "metal".
