Website Overload

I am definitely experiencing a serious slowdown here, the worst it's ever been. I suspect a new "most ever online" record.

We're all fixed up and should be good to go.

Overall, the site has been pretty good considering the traffic levels. Some minor tweaks were just made to alleviate some server resources.

Most users ever online was 5,363, Today at 02:25 PM.

Was the previous record in the 3,000s?

still slower than a usual day but not nearly as bad as it was like 10 minutes ago

I thought EIC handled the influx following today's announcement very well. I didn't notice any considerable speed differences.

I guess you had better be careful of getting what you ask for. I have to admit though keeping count here today was more exciting that what the Keynote Address had to offer.
