Anymore? You know the ones I'm talking about. 6 threads on the same subject. I'm usually the last one to complain, but half of the redundant threads are polls. Which kinda ticks me off because the point of the poll is to yield reliable results. But if you have 4 or 5 different threads with polls on the same subject, some people may pick one to vote in and other will choose a different one to vote in, so it really makes the poll useless!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARG! lol

So... use the search button already!

I am making an exception for this rant to the person that started the Poll about which color iPhone are you getting based on your gender. That is also a very interesting thought. Whether the colors will be affected by gender or not. But to the rest of you, its to the SEARCH button for you! lol

Yes this is a good point. I rarely use the search engine here unless I'm looking for specific users and their posts. I just google everythingicafe and whatever other keywords I'm looking for. This site is popular enough that what you're looking for is likely in the first page of results. It's much more efficient than searching here.

For example, try to find John's IRC thread here (search EIC IRC)...not gonna happen. Search EIC IRC on google and it's the first return.

It's only going to get worse come Friday. I guarantee we're going to get a lot of the same questions that were asked when the v1 came out. Where is MMS? How do I forward texts? How do I change the weather from Cupertino?

It's to be expected and is something we'll have to live with. Oddly enough, the people that do repost will never see this thread and thus never learn...
