Everyone chill. I can definitively state that Zanthe was not being rude. He was just being ironic. The OP talked about nicer people here, and he was playing on that by tossing a "screw you" out of nowhere. We have thick skins and senses of humor? Let's show it by lightening up and moving on, OK?

Otherwise, this thread with become another perfect example of what the quoted person was coming here to avoid. Now that's ironic!

Rudeness is rudeness. Zanthe I know had a smiley face next to his post, I was just wondering why he was posting that comment, as for icafe I did not find that post funny in the least. I have the right to ask why would you post that. Jack thank you for saying what you said. I appreciate it.
It was all just a stupid post but a rude one at that. I have never written one rude thing about anyone here, maybe it's the female in me or maybe it's just how I am. Thanks for those who defended the rude post, whether being funny or not it wasn't very funny to me. But who cares?
If a post is quoted with what I post of course I am going to take it personally. How nice that the Mod just handles rudeness by saying "lighten up".

Sorry I missed out on all this. j/k I am not..... I was on my way back and forth 2 hours to the nearest Apple store in Charlseton, SC. Tried to update from 1.1.4 to 2.0.1 yesterday and the phone and itunes would go all the way to installing the new software....where it would hang without freezing or giving an error message...the little round do hicky would continue to spin forever. Spent hours on tech support last nite. They said if it was spinning and not freezing up or giving errors, it was doing something....apparently not.....drove to Apple store today and they plugged it into their store mac and my phone zapped straight to 2.0.1 no problem. He said the problem was that I updated my itunes right before i updated the phone. The guiness and I then took itunes off my pc right there in the store and reinstalled it....tried to restore...same problem.

He then said it was a windows/itunes problem and next itunes update should/will address it...wtf?! So now I cant restore to a fresh 2.0.1 without fear of the eternal spinning wheel....
