I think I need to see a doctor.
Could also be Plantar fasciitis. Better look it up, my wife had it and it lasted a long time!

Sure does sound like plantar fasciitis to me too as I had it on my left heel and the docs tried everything to make it better and the only thing that worked was they put my foot..well leg actually up to my knee almost in a cast just as if it was broken...had to wear it for 7 weeks. After they took it off it was all better!! What the cast does is keep your plantar fasciitis stretched out so that it will heal. When you go to bed you relax your foot out and when you get up in the morning and try standing on it because its not as elactic as it should be you have great pain till it findly stretches out then after standing on it for a period of time it starts to hurt all over again!!!...I would go see your doctor soon!....

Well, they gave my wife an ankle/heel brace that stretched out the hell. She would wear it for an hour each day.

I agree with Honda. My dad had this. His feet hurt so bad in the am that he would barely walk. He had to do some stretching exercises with it and then got some custom made insoles.

Oh God no, I don't want it to be this but it has been suggested to me by a couple of other people that have had it. My appointment is in 2 weeks.

It helped my dad some to stretch your feet. Like put the balls of your feet on a step and put your heels down. How painful is it now?
