he's going out with this girl that treats him awfully, uses him, and makes him feel guilty for stuff. And I hate seeing it. But I can't very well tell him that. He's talking to me about it just to tell someone aloud. And when its done, hell be right back with her waiting to feel like crap. I know how it is. I've been there. But he deserves better. Now thats as off topic as can be, huh? Sorry, even i had to vent. Lol

Sadly, you tend to see that kinda shite a lot of the time.
I had a buddy in the UK who went out with the same girl 4 different times after breakups and realizing she was not for him, treated him bad, cheated on him etc. Had a happy ending though - he took her out for a romantic Valentines Day dinner, drank a ton of wine at the restaurant, and - not even really intentionally - told her drunkenly that he did not have the slightest clue why he was going out with her again, as he really didn't like her at all. They stayed broken up after that one

Ouch, that's a whole different ballgame - much harder. Luckily my pal had no real ties with the girl in question. And funnily enough, after his drunken burst of honesty, he ended up finding a great girl, ended up marrying her, they're real happy ...

Unfortuatly, sometimes this kind of thing has to happen before you can really see what you're into. I'm sure he'll be with somebody that's much better for him sooner or later.

I've been dating my girlfriend for two and a half years now; we have an outstanding relationship. But it took me quite a few wrong turns to get there.
