Yeah I saw this a bit earlier and couldn't believe it. I haven't read anything to follow up however. Any more word on who shot them?

Since the woman had a single gunshot wound and the gun was lying near her, maybe it will turn out to be a murder-suicide.

Considering they were seen driving in an Esclalade that was registered to both of them. I am more inclined to guess that she was more than a friend who decided she didn't want to share with the wife.

According to reports police aren't actively looking for suspects which would indicate murder/suicide.

Really sad, in that, the wife and kids are left guessing and to pick up the pieces.
