Default Just got back from Alaska...

Had a great cruise up to Alaska from San Francisco last week and I thought I'd share it. Just to make this a little iPhone related, it must have saved us about $100 in internet charges onboard the ship. We had coverage most of the way once we got to Ketchikan, AK.

Highlights were a lumberjack show in Ketchikan, helicopter ride out to a glacier in Juneau, seeing humpback whales, scenic cruising in some fjords, learning how to filet, prepare, grill, then eating fresh salmon and halibut, buying a fur hat

Click on the picture below to see a gallery (none taken with iPhone though):

Cool pictures, we have wanted to go on an Alaskan cruise for awhile, but I am more of a beach girl and Alaska looks frickin' cold, but pretty.

It wasn't really that cold and this is the beginning of their season. Most days it was in the mid 50s and toward August, it gets into the 60s and 70s. The coldest it got was in the wind up on deck while the ship was moving. Take a coat It's an extremely relaxing trip, definitely living up to all the hype I'd heard before going.

I was just wondering yesterday where you'd disappeared to. Welcome back!
