Star - stick around. I just got done going through this thread, and yes, depth went too far. If he keeps on, I'll hand out infractions - if he still doesn't stop, I'll speak with Chris.

I'm surprised he hasn't been banned or at least given an infraction for causing problems and getting many threads off topic with his little quips, not just this one. All crap aside he seems pretty intelligent and can add alot to the forum if he can cut the drop the wittyness just a bit.
Agree with a lot of this. Vast majority of the time, I ignore him. This one was just over the top as far as I'm concerned, and cumulatively it's getting beyond dumb as well. This thread would be 1/4 the length if not for his rudeness and stupidity. Seems to me he has been warned before and has still carried on and in this thread was *way* out of line.

He should learn to censor himself, real soon - a stackload of other folks should not have to go out of their way to avoid this nonsense in so many threads all the time ...

Back on the original topic. I'm grateful that my daughter is 5 tomorrow. That time flew by like everyone warned it would. She is lovely and smart, full of enthusiasm for everything she does, convinced the world has nothing but good things for her each day. 4 and 5 are great ages it seems to me ...

That is a precious age. I'm grateful for the parents like you who make the sacrifices and investment necessary to raise a healthy, adjusted child. The world needs more of them.

Wow, thanks. Her mom has done most of the hard and good work. We've both read with her since Day 1, and feel real lucky so far that she's an avid little reader. My main thing I'm working hard on teaching her is sarcasm ...

Good man. It's a crucial one. Daughter is learning it well. Maybe too well - she takes almost nothing I say at face value anymore. I can tell her today is Tuesday and she'll say 'you're kidding right Dad'
