I saw what you want to major in. What do you want to DO is an entirely different question. Do you want to be an accountant? Or do you have other finance industry jobs in mind?

Beyond that, "success" is in the eye of the beholder. No one can tell you where to go to discover yours...

This is SO important! Many students go to college and pick a major because they are interested in it. You have to know what kind of jobs you can get with that degree, and have some idea if you want to do that job! Another trap is to just pick a generic degree like liberal arts or communication. If one of these degrees isn't a stepping stone to a specific career, then it could possibly be close to useless.

I had the Finance Industry in mind, but to have accounting give me that extra edge in the busy/large Finace world

What I really dream to be is an Investment Banker...but many people tell me that those are really hard jobs to land... so I'm just trying to find some good alternative positions that I could aim at so that it kinda lead me on into the Investment banking sector

Sounds to me like you are saying "I just want to be rich, and people who have these jobs are rich" . My advice would be look at all the jobs in the "finance industry" and find out what the job actually consists of. Then you will be prepared later down the road. (BTW you are right, you are not going to graduate college and immediately get a job as an investment banker. It just won't happen. It will probably take you years to get to that if it turns out to be really what you want to do, so it would be good to look into more entry level careers)
