First off I'd like to Thank everyone for the welcome back, its good to be back

Now, let me try and answer some questions the best I can without a Multi-Quote feature here.

Yes, its Ballroom dancing. I'm taking it alone now that I've parted ways with my girlfriend. We still practice together though, which is nice. I'm currently focusing on the Latin dances with Salsa and Rumba being my favorites of the bunch. For more western dances, I've laid off Swing a bit and have been putting my energy into Waltz and Foxtrot. I really like the kind of music that you dance two for those last two, not stuff I'd listen to on my own time, but for dancing its very high class :P

Well I'm somewhat new here again, so the gripes of the past will take some time to surface again. I'm going to try to visit the site more constructively instead of hound the refresh button like in the past. I think I'll do better with a little self moderation.

Nice to meet ya, and thanks for posting. I'm sure we'll cross paths in threads, this place has a tendency end up with the regulars dominating a thread into obscurity As for the different faces with the same personalities, its not something I was expecting. Its weird to get turned off by someone you're attracted to because they remind you of a really bad headache from 10 years ago, so-to-speak.

Oh you knew eh? Can you tell me the numbers for next week's lotto while you're at it? My 3g was sadly returned because it was pretty faulty. I restored it several times over to no avail, the hardware was just bum. I'm on a direct fulfillment wait now, so I hope to be enjoying that 3g within the month, unless you can tell me when thats going to arrive

Thanks! As for the dating scene, oh boy... I'm only attracting young women, not so much the ones closer to my age. Sure, if I were a "dog" (for lack of a better word) this would be fine, but like a game, its one I'm tired of playing. I'd like to meet someone my age, or at least mentally on that level. I don't want to "teach" someone anymore, and I'd really LOVE for someone to just tell me "No" once in a while. These younger women just aim to please, and seem to absorb my personality to the point where I'm just dating myself >.<

Many thanks Also, thats amazing your BIL became an instructor after taking dance. I find myself daydreaming about being an instructor sometimes. I take a certain level of obsessive-compulsive-ness to things I like. Its just a sort of habit, I mean I like to think I can get good at things, so I dive in head first and try to get as involved as I can. Dance for me is a real challenge, I've never had to learn muscle memory in this way, it drives me crazy when I can't get a new pattern down. Once I've learned it though, I'm amazed that just a short time earlier I couldn't even remember the pattern, let alone it's styling.

EiC's resident Rogue, the Lock Pick. Looking forward to cracking open 2.0 and making it do all the stuff I was already starting to miss during my brief 3g taste. Everyone in my office uses the Nokia SMS tone you hooked me up with, and now we're all foaming at the mouth to get it back. I could seriously hear that thing from two offices over, which is cool, but then again kinda funny when everyone checks their iphone thinking it was them, hah.

I'm really happy things are going well for you (minus the dating and 3G things). I love the way you look at and tackle life, and I find your ability to fend off "attractive younger women who only aim to please" not only commendable but downright inhuman

You're quite the catch (no homo), and that will hit the right person smack in the face someday. Just wait for it.
