Any New York members?
I'm currently planning a trip to New York in the summer. Mid-july or august and wondered...
is it goning to be worth me trying to get hold of a sim-free iphone (obviously after release date) in manhattan? or waiting for uk release (about six months later!) ? really keen on getting one, but wonder whether it's gonna be worth me hunting around for one. not interested in entering into a contract (being UK-based and all) so it's sim-free only for me... many thanks in advance. James. |

Sounds like a plan, as long as you 1) can find one, 2) don't mind paying an extra $100 US (if the rumors are true), and 3) can find a UK wireless carrier to support the iPhone. Regarding the latter, O2 had an Apple deal with the ROKR; I don't know which UK carrier will handle the iPhone but O2 seems a likely candidate.
