I could live with myself if I had a "business in front, party in the back" look. It's only acceptable if you play some sort of professional hockey.

Youth today.....I see the 80's coming back ever so subtly, and it makes me so confused, and sad.

But, your taste is yours. You asked our opinion, and that is mine. I would go for something not so unclassy.

Now the car The Apple posted, that **** is bad ass. That is more hot rod than the car you posted can ever dream to be.

Anything is better than a van, though. Sorry to hear that misfortune. But, being 16 and having a car is a luxury. Good luck.
Huh.
Well, I guess if that's your opinion, then that's your opinion. Although I tend to disagree. I too have grown a deep distaste for the collar-popping douches, both from the past AND from today, so to a point I can agree with you. I think the one I've posted is a beauty though, even born the same year as I was. And besides, I'm in Houston... Somebody's got to show the imports how it's done.

Indeed, I am a very close-minded domestic vehicle lover. Besides, in times like these... The last thing America needs is people supporting a different country's economy >_>

And I'm half Redneck. Unclassy is my middle name.

Actually, our car companies do very well oversees. Very well. Better than they do here. So, it goes both ways.

Regardless, I do not give my $ to someone just b/c they are from America. If I can get a better car overall for a better price that has features that are more suitable to my needs, then that is what I do. Most likely 90% of the things you own are foreign made, and that is due to American trade relations and policies.

The car companies put themselves in their own holes, do to poor management and development practices, overproduction on models with no appeal, and bad marketing strategies that tie into their product lines. Not b/c I buy Honda or Toyota (*cough* better cars *cough*). I wish them well, but they dug their own holes without anyone elses help.

And, I am sorry you live in Houston. It is the one city in Texas i always hated being in when I lived there. And I get your point of DBags with bull**** cars there. I am sure the ghettoness of it all is astounding as usual.

San Antonio is better, b/c Austin is only 40 mins away.

And, the hill country. God, I miss the Hill Country.

Oh yeah I love and miss the hill country around Austin. Spent a lot of time in Houston and owned a '73 GTO. It was the car.

My second car was a 1989 Camaro RS. That looks like a 91/92, with an upgraded engine to 3.1. What year is it?

I would LOVE to get a 3rd gen again. My last Camaro was a 99 v6. Now I own a Prius. I'd like to get the Camaro though...

(I know I've posted that link at least 4 times now. I miss that car)

What do ya think about GTO's? Seem easier to work on, the engine isn't under the windshield.
