If anyone out there needs a Mother's little Helper drug (ya know, the Rolling Stones song), I recommend Provigil. It's much better than Ritalin. It's for narcolepsy and those that just can't seem to find the time to sleep due to busy schedules. It will perk you up and bring joy to your life. If you beg long enough, your physician just might give you some.
Warning: Side effects may include, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headaches, twitching eyes, extreme elation, manic episodes, apathy, fake British accent, detachment of limbs from flailing about, and of course death.
Isn't it ironic, don't ya think?!

Provigil is absolutely amazing. I rarely sleep but I'm also rarely tired. However, on the rare occasion when I'm feeling a bit sluggish, Provigil works wonders. I often bring a few when I travel a lot so I can go out all day and still have enough energy to do stuff at night. Highly recommended.

I don't know about the rest of you but I consider death to be a major side effect.

If you guys were completely aware of the side effects and risks of Tylenol, you probably wouldn't ever take it. All drugs have a long list of them. The ones that save lives are particularly bad. You can lose your digits from vasopressors and I've seen people pack on almost 50 lbs over a 3 day weekend from all the drugs being pumped into them. But hey, the heart is still beating.

Personally I don't think ADD is real. I think it's just called being lazy or not caring. By giving it a scientific name we're able to manufacture and sell magical pills that make people actually get their work done.

actually it's more than "just" a "scientific" term for "lazy" or "not caring". there were test where many students couldn't focus straight and had short tension spans because of the WAY the teacher taught the subject. if a teacher is just throwing out facts and not expecting any feedback from the students, that's a good indicator that many of the students have focus issues. it's one thing to not care, it's another thing to not be able to focus for a long time.
