Default Working?

I recently got a v1 iphone. I mainly use Google for my contacts and calendar (well I was using palm on my treo but transferred everything over when I was going to get my iphone). I love the idea of Mobileme but I can't seem to get it working. I thought they had all the "bugs" worked out! I can get my mail okay but not contacts or calendar. Are others still having problems?
I am currently using a PC. Could I be doing something wrong or missing a step? Any help would be great.
Thanks

I am in the trial stage right now. Would that make a difference?

No, I just thought you were trying to use MobileMe when you don't actually own it.
Have you tried contacting Apple?

Many many many others are having problems. Some aren't. It's going to be very buggy for a while, until they get their act together. After the 60-day trial folks dump the service, it might settle in a bit more.
