Default so whats up with this iDisk thingy?

can I upload a movie from my pc, then stream it on the road to my iphone?
can someone explain why I would upload a file to this service?

Just think of it as an external memory drive where you can drag and drop various files to a safe location where you can access them whenever you want.
As far as streaming a movie to your phone, I don't think that's possible.

Exactly. If you have a large file that you don't want to take up space on your internal disk, upload it to iDisk. If you need to share some files with your contacts, upload them to iDisk. And no, it cannot stream movies.

How does this work from a PC? also when i try to send pics to my mobileme account from my iphone it says i need to setup an album using iphoto, can i do this with a PC?
