Default Others add Calendar events to MobileMe?

Does Mobile Me permit someone else (say my secretary) to add appointments to Mobile Me which will then sync to my iphone?

If yes, do we need 2 Mobile Me accounts or just mine?

Nope. It's only for you...unless you give the secretary your password.

Do not want her to have access, just a way to add appointments to it as she makes a number of them.

I was thinking it might be like the Google Calendar where you can give certain access.

It's just not mature enough to do that yet. The only thing you can do is publish a calendar via iCal, so you can give her read-only access...but she cannot modify without actually logging into your account. MobileMe calendar is a poor business-oriented calendaring solution--although the potential is awesome. How cool would it be for her to add appointments and it just updates on the iPhone over the air. All that without paying for the Exchange infrastructure.

Nail on the head impaler!

That is exactly what I want! Secretary update my calendar and I get it on my phone and my laptop. I suppose family could update too if that feature existed.

Perhaps give you the ability to say that the secretary can update the work calendar, family the home calendar, etc.

Apple and Jobs listening????

She can have access via Outlook on her computer. However, she will also see emails, contacts, etc.

You can use this program, but I think it only works on macs....if you can find something similar for a PC, there is your answer.

could you have your secretary "invite" you to your appointments through email? you confirm the invite and the appointment gets added to your calendar. this way, no one would be accessing your private data.

mind you i have tested it. just thinking outloud.
