My iPhone wouldn't verify my MobileMe account

I already went to the apple store and talked to a mac genius and still they can't solve my problem but they just told me that the mail server is down. every time I try to verify my me account, it always say "Cannot Get Mail The username or password for "mail.me.com" is incorrect", Anybody having the same problem as me? Any help would be appreciated.

Did you have a .mac account before and it is not switching over? Or are you activating a new mobile account? I just got mail uploaded fine.

I had a .mac and my Mobil me is working well.

I will try to send/rcve email and see what happens...

EDIT: I sent and rcved email fine from my .mac mail at 10:04pm

It's still not working. All I can do is sync my contacts and iCal but no email. =(
