Default MobileMe released too early

Well...MobileMe is up and running...poorly.

I truly believe that this service is going to be AWESOME! Wireless push for calendar, contacts and mail...sweet! However, I am running a PC and use Outlook 2007 for my calendar app. I was able to push my contacts/calendar to the "cloud", but ever since I pushed originally, I'm getting a "inconsistent data" error when my computer attempts to sync automatically. Contacts just hangs on me and Outlook can download email, but I cannot connect to the smtp server...times out every time. I can send email through my iPhone, but not my computer.

It looks like it will be a great service, but not yet. Apple really messed this launch up. It could've been GREAT! It wasn't.

Your cal is pushing? I got the iphone and the ical on the .me to sync, but nothing pushing to iCal app on the macbook. I put a couple test calendar items on the iphone and the mobile me online cal, but neither push to iCal app.

Everything appears to be working fine for me, i get mail in under a minute most of the time, Calendar and Contacts seem to take a little longer, but work fine for me.

A friend with a Blackberry and I were sending emails back and forth for about a hour, all were almost instant, other than the messages getting long it felt almost like using text messages.

Also, I added my .Mac email to my iphone while still in the at&t store, contacts calendar, bookmarks, and email were on my phone by the time I got to my truck. Very nice, never even had to connect it to my computer.

might want to check that it is set to sync automatically, that might solve that
