mobile me wont sync?

i just signed up for mobile me andim trying to get it to sync with my macbook before i risk losing everything on my iphone but it refuses to sync ical and address book.. everytime i do it in my settings menu on the macbook and then go check on me, me is empty.

anyone know if this is a universal glitch still or if im doing something wrong? and yes, i have both those checked in the syncing options

I have a similar situation. I just signed up for the trial, and mobile me will not push anything to my iphone. It syncs perfect between my mac and "the cloud", but no changes show on my iphone unless I manually sync.
